Product Information
The Carburetor Journal specializes in carburetors, carburetor cores, replacement parts, and related automotive components.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, part numbers, and application information. However, vintage automotive components may have variations based on year, model, engine, production date, previous modifications, or other factors.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify that a product is appropriate for their particular application before purchasing.
If you are unsure about a product, please contact us before ordering. We are happy to help with identification and application questions.
Carburetor Cores & Used Products
Products identified as “Core,” “Carburetor Core,” “Used,” or similar terminology are used components and are sold AS-IS.
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, carburetor cores:
Have not been rebuilt or restored by The Carburetor Journal.
Are not guaranteed to be operational or ready for installation.
May require cleaning, rebuilding, repair, adjustment, or replacement of components.
May show age, wear, corrosion, discoloration, previous repairs, modifications, or missing components.
Are intended primarily for rebuilding, restoration, parts, or professional repair.
Are sold without warranty.
Are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Photographs are provided to help customers evaluate the condition of the product before purchasing.
New Parts
Products specifically identified as new are sold as new replacement parts.
New parts may be returned in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy provided they are unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and otherwise meet the requirements of that policy.
Installation & Use
Automotive components should be installed, adjusted, and serviced by a person with appropriate knowledge and experience.
Improper installation, adjustment, fuel-system problems, vehicle modifications, contaminated fuel, excessive fuel pressure, or other conditions unrelated to the product may affect performance.
The Carburetor Journal is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, modification, misuse, or use of a product in an application for which it was not intended.
Pricing & Availability
Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, pricing errors, or inventory discrepancies.
If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you when appropriate before fulfilling the affected item.
Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, inventory errors, payment problems, or other circumstances that prevent us from properly fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.
Shipping
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days.
Orders may be shipped through USPS or UPS, depending on the product, destination, size, weight, and other shipping considerations.

Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Carburetor cores and used carburetors sold AS-IS are final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or warranty unless expressly stated otherwise in the individual product listing.
Eligible new parts may be returned according to the conditions stated in our Refund Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Carburetor Journal will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the installation, misuse, modification, or improper application of products purchased through our website.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original text, photographs, graphics, logos, articles, and other original content appearing on The Carburetor Journal website are the property of The Carburetor Journal and may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, vehicle names, and part numbers appearing on this website are used for identification and compatibility purposes. Their use does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by the respective manufacturer unless expressly stated.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
